Unique Challenges of Preparing Students for the 21st Century Healthcare Industry

AUPHA meeting attendee shares poster

The Undergraduate Workshop is designed for junior and senior undergraduate healthcare administration program directors and faculty. It provides a forum to collaboratively identify workplace trends and share best practices.

This year's theme is Unique Challenges of Preparing Students for the 21st Century Healthcare Industry.  As with most fields and industries, the ever changing landscape and necessary skills to be successful continue to dynamically change within the healthcare administration field. Accordingly, programs must be forward thinking to identify the future needs of students, associated industries, and the field as a whole.  This year's Undergraduate Workshop will highlight these three elements, providing discussions, presentations, and speakers that will examine potential future shifts and needs for preparing tomorrow's successful healthcare administration professionals.

Join us in Orlando to share your experiences and ideas as they relate to undergraduate health administration education. Plan to capture new ideas and leave with applicable pedagogic opportunities.
